We discovered VÈVAKI during this year's holiday in Iceland and as their dark folk music fits perfectly well to the rough but beautiful landscape their latest album "Fórnspeki" became a major part of our holiday playlist. Back home I purchased "Edda" as well. It is similar and offers the same mystical atmosphere but appears less multi-faceted and intensive as their latest masterpiece. Anyway, dark rituals like "Þá Kvað Völva" or "Hétumk Grímr" are excellent mind trips to ancient Iceland!
